The drug is not recommended for children below the age of 3 years.
For children 3 to 5 years The initial Dose is 2.5 mg taken orally upon awakening with a maintenance daily dosage which may be raised in increments of 2.5 mg at weekly intervals. The first dose is administered on awakening with additional doses at intervals of 4 to 6 hours.
For children above 6 years
The initial Dose is 5 mg taken orally upon awakening with a maintenance daily dosage which may be raised in increments of 5 mg at weekly intervals. The first dose is administered on awakening with additional doses at intervals of 4 to 6 hours.
